It's been an exciting year for us here at Fardella & Bell!

Well, well, well – what a year it has been! As 2022 draws to a close – it didn’t feel right to end the year without reflecting on just how much of a remarkable twelve months this has been for us, here at Fardella & Bell.

Let’s take a look at what we’ve been up to…

New beginnings…

Since launching in 2020, we’ve had an ambitious mission to change the way the property industry operates. Looking for a way to bridge the disconnect between law firms and estate agents, we’ve always considered ourselves to be up against the big names in the industry, with the hopes of instigating real change in the way Estate Agents operate. 

As we entered our third year of business, the time felt right for us to begin a totally new chapter for Fardella & Bell as we knew it, kicking off with the opening of our new office branch on Burnley Road in Padiham. We knew that for us to make a real change, the time was right for us to invest into our own brick-and-mortar, establish ourselves on the local high street, and show that we’re here to stay. 

We’ve had a fantastic seven months in our new Padiham branch so far, having met some amazing individuals that we wouldn’t have otherwise had the opportunity to meet, and we couldn’t be happier with the move. 

Although we’ve still got our original base in Clitheroe for our Ribble Valley clients, the new office has given us a great opportunity to build new, genuine connections with clients across Padiham and Burnley – which we believe is what really sets us apart from the competition. 

Whilst traditional Estate Agents often have a reputation for speaking in riddles, using too much confusing jargon, and pulling the wool over their client’s eyes – our mission involves transparency, authenticity and keeping things real with our clients. 

Being able to invite our Burnley-based clients into the office for a brew and a chat is a great way for us to get to know each of our customers on an individual basis, and really helps us in delivering the dazzling customer experience and service that we’re known for. 

A new look – Our new website and brand refresh

As part of our preparations for moving into the new Padiham office, we also worked closely with our friends at Root Fifty-Two to launch our new website and recent brand refresh. As the business grew, we wanted to ensure the new aesthetics and feel of our brand reflected the warm and personable nature of our team, whilst still conveying our professionalism. We’re thrilled with the finished result and couldn’t be happier with our new look! 

New team members – Introducing Megan and Rachel

Meanwhile, alongside our new offices, new website and revamped brand, we’ve also been lucky enough to introduce two brand new team members into the Fardella & Bell family.

Aligned with our vision and our values, both Megan and Rachel have joined us as Estate Agents after previous experience within the industry had led them to face the same frustrations and challenges that had led us to launch Fardella & Bell in the first place. 

It’s been a pleasure to see them both settle into our team and help us to challenge the stereotypes that are associated with Estate Agents by building great, transparent and authentic relationships with our lovely clients. We feel really lucky to have them both on board!

Supporting the community…

Finally, it only feels right to acknowledge that this year has been a difficult one for many of us. With the cost-of-living rising and soaring energy and fuel costs, many families across Lancashire this year have struggled more than ever. 

As a local business that wouldn’t be where we are today without the trust and support of our local community, giving back to those in need is something that we’ve always prioritised and strived to make time for – particularly at the moment when things are so tough for so many. 

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been busy collecting children’s toys and gifts to donate to the local charity, Burnley Together. This charity helps provide Christmas presents to families across Burnley who may not otherwise have been able to afford them this year. 

We’ve also been collecting donations for The Hub in Padiham, which provides people with a warm and safe space to turn, should they need it. The charity is run by volunteers and provides locals with the opportunity to get together with others, socialise, and play games. They also do a great job of assisting with CV writing and helping to get people into employment. 

It’s a great feeling being able to get involved and make a difference within our local community, and we look forward to being able to support these causes throughout the future, too.

Finally, we’d just like to wrap up by saying a huge thank you to all of our lovely clients, past and present, for their continued support and trust over the last couple of years.

We’ve met some fantastic people along the way, and we truly wouldn’t be where we are today without you. Wishing everyone a fantastic festive season with their loved ones, and we look forward to letting you know what 2023 has in store for us here at Fardella & Bell!
