The exciting news…

If you’ve been living under a rock for the last few weeks, you might’ve missed that the team here at Fardella & Bell are set to appear on the hit BBC property renovation show, Homes Under the Hammer! 

Big deal alert – we know! 

As we’re sure you can imagine, we were over the moon when the BBC approached us to appear on the show. We’ve always been huge fans of Homes Under the Hammer, and the opportunity to showcase our property expertise and renovation knowledge was just too good to pass up.

As a team, we’ve consistently prided ourselves on our strong presence in the local area and our commitment to providing a level of service that challenges the perceptions of traditional estate agents. We believe in building strong relationships with our clients and always prioritising their needs – so to have this recognised is an honour! 

The filming experience…

We’ve been filming with the team over the last few months for upcoming episodes featuring property renovations in Padiham and Blackburn. As the property experts for these episodes, we will be giving our opinion on the area and what work needs to be done to bring the properties back to a desirable standard.

The filming experience has been nothing short of amazing. From brainstorming ideas for the property makeovers, sharing our opinions on Padiham and Blackburn (all good, by the way!) and assessing the condition of the selected properties – it’s been an absolute blast. 

During filming, we had the pleasure of meeting one of the show’s hosts and former footballer, Dion Dublin. He was brilliant and really down to earth, aligning perfectly with our business ethos. It was an honour to collaborate and work with him, and we’re happy to report that he’s just as lovely as he appears on the telly! 

As of now, we’re scheduled to appear in two episodes so far, but the producers have suggested that we may become the regular ‘go-to’ estate agents whenever they come to Lancashire. It’s an exciting prospect for us, and we’re looking forward to returning to the properties once renovations are complete between April and June. How exciting! 

We can’t wait for you to see what we’ve been up to, and we hope we’ve done our very best to put our local towns on the map, and shine the spotlight on just how brilliant East Lancashire is. Seeing yourself on national television is always a little nerve-wracking, but we’re looking forward to showcasing our skills and property expertise with the world!
